The scope of work comprised of design, build and operation of the new Filtration plant. This includes the following:

• Complete redesign of entire filtration plant;
• Demolish and remove old equipment and no longer used concrete parts;
• Rehabilitate concrete remaining concrete structures;
• Install new filtration system;
• Install new backwash system.
• Upgrade electrical facilities for powering new filtration plant equipment (MCC);
• Replace and upgrade monitoring and control system (PLC, RTU, M2M, SCADA, etc.)

Replace and upgrade auxiliary plant equipment, such as instrumentation, piping, cabling, Ducting, maintenance platforms, etc
